Day 01Arrival in Baku - Transfer to Gabala
Upon your arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will assist you with your transfer to Gabala. The scenic drive to Gabala takes approximately 3 hours, passing through beautiful landscapes. Along the way, you will stop at Nohur Lake, a tranquil spot nestled in the mountains, offering a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views. After arriving in Gabala, check in at your hotel.
Enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure, and overnight in Gabala.
Day 02Exploring Gabala’s Natural Wonders
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your day begins with a visit to the Tufandaq Winter-Summer Tourism Complex, where you can enjoy a range of activities such as cable car rides, skiing, or hiking depending on the season. Later, you will head to the Yeddi Gozel Waterfalls (Seven Beauties), one of the most popular tourist spots in Gabala. Located 6 kilometers from Vandam village, this seven-step waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder. To reach the full view of all the waterfalls, a short hike up the stairs is required. The area around the waterfall remains cool and shaded by the dense forest, offering a serene and mysterious panorama.
After the excursion, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gabala.
Day 03Gabala to Baku - Absheron Peninsula Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your journey back to Baku. Upon arrival, you will start the Absheron Peninsula tour. Your first stop will be the Ateshgah Fire Temple, an ancient Zoroastrian place of worship that also has Persian and Indian influences. The temple complex features a central fire altar surrounded by monk cells and dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Next, you will visit Yanardag, also known as the "Blazing Mountain," a natural gas fire that blazes continuously on the hillside. This natural phenomenon is a testament to Azerbaijan’s nickname as the "Land of Fire."
After these unique experiences, head back to your hotel in Baku for an overnight stay.
Day 04Baku’s Historical and Modern Sights
After breakfast at the hotel, start your day with a visit to the Old City, or Icherisheher, which is the historical core of Baku. This area, surrounded by ancient city walls, is home to important landmarks like the Maiden Tower and Shirvanshah’s Palace. The Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering insight into the city’s rich history. Following the Old City, take a walk down Nizami Street, one of Baku’s busiest streets known for its shops and cafes. This street dates back to the 19th century and stretches from the western to the eastern part of the city. Your next stop will be Fountain Square, a public space in downtown Baku, where you can enjoy the fountains and relax. Afterward, visit the Heydar Aliyev Center, an architectural masterpiece designed by Zaha Hadid. The flowing, curved style of the building offers great photo opportunities.
After your sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Baku.
Day 05Gobustan and Mud Volcanoes
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a visit to Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient rock petroglyphs. The petroglyphs, which date back to the 12th century BC, depict scenes of hunting, people, animals, and celestial symbols. This open-air museum covers 100 square kilometers and offers a glimpse into the early human settlements in Azerbaijan. Your next stop is the Mud Volcanoes, a natural wonder where you can observe the bubbling mud and unique geological formations.
After a full day of exploration, return to Baku for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 06Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and prepare for your transfer to the airport. Your memorable journey through Baku and Gabala comes to an end as you head to the airport for your flight home.
