Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Kaziranga National Park

Arrive at Guwahati Airport, the main gateway to Northeast India.
Meet our representative at the airport, who will pick you up and assist you throughout your Meghalaya trip.
We will begin our scenic drive from the airport to Kaziranga – a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the famous one-horned rhinoceros.
Upon reaching, we will check into our hotel and relax.
You can then spend the rest of the day at leisure.
We suggest you either relax in your room or head out to explore around.

02

Jeep Safari at Kaziranga – Transfer to Shillong

Wake up early in the morning and get ready for a thrilling jeep safari. Board the jeep to explore the Kaziranga National Park with the group.
Try spotting one-horned rhinos, cute elephants playing in the water and many other animals.
After this amazing wildlife experience, we will come back to the hotel room.
We will then have our breakfast, before we pack our bags and head to Shillong.
We will begin our beautiful drive towards Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, also known as the “Scotland of the East”.
Enjoy this road journey through the scenic landscapes and reach Shillong in the evening.
Check into your hotel room and relax for some time.
You can then spend some time exploring the local market and cafes of Shillong.
Come back to your comfy hotel room and call it a night.

03

Shillong to Cherrapunjee via Laitlum Canyons.

Wake up in your hotel room and have a delicious breakfast.
Get ready for the exciting drive to Cherrapunjee, also considered one of the wettest places on Earth.
During our drive, first we will stop at the Laitlum Canyon, where you can shout into the wind and admire the stunning valley views.
Next, we will stop at Lyngksiar Falls, linked to the local tale of a brave boy, where you can relax and take pictures.
Upon reaching Cherrapunjee, we check into the hotel.
After relaxing for some time, we will continue our journey to see the beautiful Nohkalikai Falls.
Admire this tallest plunge waterfall in India, which is believed to be named after a tribal woman who jumped from here
Upon completing the sightseeing for the day, head back to the hotel room and call it a night.

04

Double Decker Root Bridge Trek in Nongriat Village

Wake up to a pleasant morning and have your breakfast at the hotel.
Today we will board our transfers and head to the Tyrna village.
From here, we will begin the famous trek to the Double Decker Root Bridge in Nongriat village.
First, we will have to trek down 3500 steps to walk on these unique structures built on top of one another over centuries.
Spend some time admiring the double decker bridges, click pictures or take a dip in the water pool below.
You will then begin your return journey by climbing back 3500 steps and then boarding your transfer back to Cherrapunjee.

Cherrapunjee Waterfalls & Caves | Transfer To Shillong

Wake up to a refreshing morning in Cherrapunjee and have your breakfast .
Vist the Nohkalikai Falls viewpoint, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India, offering panoramic views of the lush green valleys.
Continue the journey with a visit to Mawsmai Caves, known for their limestone formations and narrow passages that make for a fun exploration experience.
After sightseeing, we will board our transfers and drive towards Shillong, the charming “Scotland of the East”.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax after the journey.
In the evening, you can step out with your group to explore Shillong’s café culture or visit Police Bazaar for shopping and local food.

Day Trip to Dawki & Mawlynnong

After early breakfast drive to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. 
Enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River. 
Later proceed to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. 
Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. 
Evening drive back to Shillong. 
Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

Departure | Transfer to Guwahati via Umiam Lake

Wake up to a peaceful morning in Shillong and enjoy a hearty breakfast before checking out of your hotel.
After checking out, we begin our journey back to Guwahati
On the way, we will stop at Umiam Lake (Borapani) - a large, quiet lake surrounded by green hills and tall pine trees.
Take a moment here for a short walk or click some lovely photos.
After spending some time here, we continue our drive to Guwahati Airport for the return trip.
Your thrilling trip concludes as you head to the Guwahati airport for your onward journey.
