    BANDARANAIKE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT / PINNAWALA / SIGIRIYA

      Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet and be assisted by our representative in Sri Lanka, and proceed to
      Sigiriya via Pinnawala.
      En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
      The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is situated northwest of the town of Kegalle, halfway between the present capital,
      Colombo, and the ancient royal residence, Kandy. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Wildlife Department in a
      25-acre coconut property adjoining the Maha Oya River. The orphanage was originally founded to provide care and
      protection to the many orphaned Elephants found in the jungles of Sri Lanka.

      Thereafter, proceed to Dambulla & visit Dambulla Cave Temple.
      Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in
      central Sri Lanka. This remarkable complex consists of five caves adorned with stunning Buddhist murals and over 150
      statues, including a massive reclining Buddha. Carved into a large rock face, the temple dates back to the first century
      BCE and has been a pilgrimage site for centuries. The intricate frescoes and sculptures reflect the rich history and
      artistry of ancient Sri Lankan culture, making it a must-visit for those interested in spirituality and history. The
      panoramic views from the temple enhance the experience, offering a breathtaking backdrop to this cultural gem.

    SIGIRIYA / TRINCOMALEE / SIGIRIYA

      After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Trincomalee.
      Commence the city tour in Trincomalee, including Koneshwaram Temple, Trincomalee Harbour, Nilaveli, and Uppuveli
      beaches.
      A Trincomalee city tour offers a fascinating blend of history, culture, and scenic beauty.       Thereafter, return to Sigiriya.

    SIGIRIYA / MATALE / KANDY

      Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
      Rising 200 meters vertically from the flat plains, Sigiriya Rock provides you with one of the most dramatic sites in Sri  Lanka. The top of this rock contains ruins of an ancient palace complex, built during the reign of King Kasyapa (477AD – 495 AD), and the surrounding rock is the Royal Garden. It is one of the 7 world heritage sites in Sri Lanka and is one of the most popular tourist destinations

      Thereafter, proceed to Kandy via Matale.
      En route, visit the Spice Garden in Matale. Visit a spice garden in Matale to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for. Just 25 km from the hill
      capital of Kandy, the Matale spice gardens are among the best on the island. You will be introduced to different spices  and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. A processing and training unit has been set up in the area and farmers are grouped in a cooperative to ensure fair prices and you will be able to purchase spices.

      Thereafter commences the city tour in Kandy, including Upper Lake viewpoint, Gem Museum, Batik Factory & Shopping.
      A Kandy city tour offers an immersive experience into the heart of Sri Lanka’s cultural and natural beauty. Highlights  include a stroll around the picturesque Kandy Lake, which is surrounded by lush greenery.     KANDY / RAMBODA / NUWARA ELIYA

      Breakfast at the hotel, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

      En route visit Ramboda waterfalls.
      Ramboda Falls, nestled in the lush hills of Sri Lanka's central highlands, is a captivating sight. Cascading down from a  height of about 109 meters, this multi-tiered waterfall is surrounded by verdant tea plantations and dense forest, creating a stunning natural backdrop. The falls are easily accessible and offer picturesque views and a tranquil ambiance. The cool, misty spray and the gentle roar of the water provide a refreshing experience for visitors. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers seeking to capture the beauty of Sri Lanka's highland scenery.

      Thereafter, proceed to a Tea factory and plantation, including a tea plucking session.
      A visit to a tea factory and plantation offers an immersive look into Sri Lanka's renowned tea industry.     NUWARA ELIYA / BENTOTA

      After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Bentota via Kitulgala.
      Enjoy the Madu River boat safari and visit the Turtle hatchery in Kosgoda.
      The Madu River, in southwestern Sri Lanka, is a gem of natural beauty and tranquility. A boat ride here is a peaceful  journey through lush mangrove forests and charming fishing villages.       Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where you can see five fascinating species of turtles: Green, Hawksbill, Loggerhead,  Leatherback, and Olive Ridley. Local villagers and fishermen collect turtle eggs, which are then bought by the hatchery  and kept in sandy pens until they hatch. The baby turtles are raised in seawater tanks and released into the ocean at  night. With over 1,750,000 turtles released, this hatchery, supported by a donation from the Hasselblad Estate, plays  a crucial role in turtle conservation.

    BENTOTA / COLOMBO

      After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Colombo.
      Commence the city tour in Colombo, including Galle Face Green, Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, BMICH  & Local Bazar. Colombo is the business and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Colombo was only a small seaport, which came into  prominence in the 16th Century with the arrival of the Portuguese in 1505, and the development of it as a major  Harbor took place during the British period. Colombo became the capital of Sri Lanka in 1815 after the Kandyan  Kingdom was ceded. Colombo is a shopping paradise for shoppers who always enjoy a good bargain on quality clothes and fashion accessory items.
