Yamunotri - Yamunotri, one of the holiest Char Dham sites. Yamunotri, nestled at the base of the Bandarpunch Peaks, is a sacred destination that attracts pilgrims and trekkers alike. It is the origin of the Yamuna River, which is believed to cleanse the sins of devotees who take a dip in its icy waters. The Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, is situated at 3,293 meters and is one of the Char Dham shrines. The surrounding region is known for its hot springs, especially Surya Kund, where pilgrims prepare rice wrapped in cloth to offer to the goddess.

Gangotri - Gangotri is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India, revered as the source of the sacred Ganga River. It is believed that Goddess Ganga descended to Earth at this spot to cleanse the sins of mankind. The Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, is a focal point for devotees who come to offer prayers and seek divine blessings. Surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks and glaciers, the site exudes spiritual energy, making it a place of intense devotion and purity, where the river’s holy waters are believed to possess the power to wash away sins and grant salvation.

Kedarnath - Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlings of Lord Shiva, is a revered pilgrimage site located at an altitude of 3,583 meters. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, the Kedarnath Temple stands as a symbol of divine power and protection. It is believed that Lord Shiva took refuge here to evade the Pandavas after the Mahabharata war. Devotees come from far and wide to offer prayers and seek blessings for salvation, as the sacred temple is said to grant moksha to those who visit. The journey to Kedarnath is a spiritual trek, filled with devotion and awe, amidst the majestic beauty of the Himalayas.

Badrinath - Badrinath, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and holds immense religious significance. The Badrinath Temple, located at 3,133 meters, is one of the holiest shrines in India, attracting thousands of devotees annually. According to legend, Lord Vishnu meditated here for thousands of years, and the temple is believed to be the site of his penance. Surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Nar and Narayan mountains, Badrinath is considered a place where divine energy flows abundantly, offering spiritual solace and liberation to those who visit.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01Dehradun - Haridwar (39 Km / 01 Hr)

  • Upon arrival at Dehradun Airport and meeting with the driver, our journey starts from Dehradun towards Haridwar.
  • Arrive in Haridwar, Check into your hotel, and rest for a while.
  • If time permits visit Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to lord Shiva.
  • In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Arti at Har Ki Pauri. It starts around sunset (around 5:30-7:00 PM), with priests performing rituals, lighting oil lamps, and singing devotional hymns.
  • Post Arti, explore local shops near Har Ki Pauri for souvenirs and you can try some famous street food like kachaudi - sabzi, aloo puri, and sweets like rabri and jalebi.
  • Return to your hotel for rest.


Day 02Haridwar - Barkot (185 Km / 06-07 Hr)

  • The journey starts from Haridwar in the early morning after a dip (bathing) in the holy Ganga River.
  • After having breakfast, move towards Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie.
  • En route take a brief stop at Kempty Falls near Mussoorie to stretch your legs and enjoy the waterfall.
  • Continue your journey through winding mountain roads with breathtaking views.
  • Reach Barkot by late afternoon and check in to your hotel. The town is known for its lush greenery and serene surroundings.
  • Take a walk around the area to help acclimatize to the altitude. Evening at leisure to rest and prepare for the trek to Yamunotri.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Barkot.


Day 03Barkot- Yamunotri (45 Km Drive / 05 Km Trek)

  • Early in the morning, after breakfast, we left for Yamunotri.
  • Depart early for a drive to Jankichatti, the base point for the Yamunotri trek. The drive offers spectacular views of lush green hills and the Yamuna River.
  • From Jankichatti begin the 5 km trek to Yamunotri. The trek path is well-paved but can be steep. If you prefer, you can also ride a horse or pony to reach Yamunotri without much walking (on direct payment)
  • Yamunotri, is a significant pilgrimage site and the source of the Yamuna River. Visit Yamunotri Temple, the main attraction. This ancient temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
  • After your spiritual rituals, start your descent back trek to Jankichatti in the afternoon.
  • Return to Barkot by evening for a dinner & overnight stay.


Day 04Barkot- Uttarkashi (85 Km / 03-04 Hrs.)

  • After breakfast, depart for Uttarkashi. The drive offers picturesque views of hills and valleys.
  • On the Way Stop at Prakateshwar Cave: A naturally formed limestone cave located enroute to Uttarkashi. It has unique stalactite and stalagmite formations that resemble Shiva Lingas.
  • Upon reaching Uttarkashi, check-in to your hotel.
  • Visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The evening Arti here is a serene and divine experience.
  • If time permits, enjoy a peaceful evening walk along the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.




Day 05Uttarkashi - Gangotri (100 Km / 04 Hrs.)

  • After an early breakfast, depart for Gangotri*. The road to Gangotri passes through stunning landscapes, and you can enjoy picturesque views of the snow-capped peaks.
  • Enroute visit, Gangnani, a small hamlet with natural hot springs. Take a relaxing dip in the hot water and continue your journey.
  • Reach Gangotri by noon. Visit the Gangotri Temple, one of the most revered shrines dedicated to Goddess Ganga.
  • If time permits, explore the Surya Kund Waterfall & Tapovan Art Gallery for a unique experience.
  • Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Harsil Valley on driving back to Uttarkashi.
  • Start your return journey to Uttarkashi and reach by evening for an overnight stay.


Day 06Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (200 Km / 08 Hrs.)

  • Post breakfast, start early for a long journey towards Guptkashi. The drive takes you through scenic routes and river valleys.
  • Reach Guptkashi by evening. Check into your hotel and take a rest after a long journey.
  • You can visit Ardh Narishwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, depicting the deity in a half-male, half-female form symbolizing the union of Shiva and Parvati (if time permits).
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi.


Day 07Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30 Km Drive / 18 Km Trek)

  • After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your tour to Kedarnath begins.
  • You have to travel 30 km from Guptkashi to Sonprayag and take a sharing jeep up to 5 Km from Sonprayag to reach Gaurikund.
  • From Gaurikund starts an 18 Km trek to Kedarnath. The trail offers breathtaking views of the majestic peaks and cascading rivers. You can hire a pony or a palanquin if needed (on direct payment basis)
  • Upon arrival check in at your accommodation.
  • If time permits, visit Kedarnath temple and participate in the Kedarnath evening Arti, which is an unforgettable spiritual experience.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 08Kedarnath - Guptkashi (18 Km trek / 30 Km drive)

  • Wake up early in the morning before sunrise and after bathing, reach the temple at 4:45 am to celebrate the Abhishek of Kedarnath Shiva and morning Arti.
  • After Darshan and puja leave the temple and return to the hotel.
  • Post breakfast, begin your descent to Gaurikund. Take breaks and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the Himalayas.
  • Upon reaching Gaurikund, take a sharing jeep for Sonprayag and drive towards Guptkashi.
  • Check into your hotel, have dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Guptkashi.


Day 09Guptkashi- Badrinath (195 Km / 07 Hrs.)

  • Early morning check-out after breakfast.
  • Depart for Badrinath. The road is winding, and you will pass through scenic towns and rivers.
  • Visit Pandukeshwar, an ancient village in Uttarakhand, believed to be established by King Pandu of the Mahabharata, and is home to the sacred Yog Dhyan Badri Temple.
  • Upon arrival check into your hotel and freshen up.
  • If time permits, visit the Badrinath Temple and attend the evening Arti. Explore the surroundings and enjoy the peace of the temple area.
  • Back to the hotel and take a rest.


Day 10Badrinath - Rudraprayag (150 Km / 05-06 Hrs.)

  • Participate in the morning Arti and seek blessings. Explore the surroundings and enjoy the peace of the temple area.
  • Explore Mana Village, the last village on the Indo-China border. Visit Vyas Gufa and Ganesh Gufa, two significant spiritual spots in the village.
  • After breakfast, drive to Rudraprayag.
  • Enroute Take a break at Joshimath and visit the Narsingh Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu's Narsingh (half-lion, half-human) incarnation and serves as the winter abode for the idol of Badrinath.
  • The route passes through Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandprayag, each known for the confluence of rivers.
  • Reach Rudraprayag by late afternoon and check into your hotel. Rest for the evening or explore the small town and its riverbank.
  • Dinner & stay at a hotel in Rudraprayag.



Day 11Rudraprayag - Rishikesh (136 Km / 04-05 Hr)

  • After breakfast, drive towards Rishikesh. The road journey passes through scenic landscapes and valleys.
  • On arrival, check into your hotel and relax.
  • Visit iconic landmarks like Ram Jhula, Janki Setu, Parmarth Niketan and Geeta Bhawan.
  • Attend evening Ganga Arti at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh is a captivating evening ritual where devotees offer prayers to the Ganges River, accompanied by chanting, music, and the lighting of lamps, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
  • Come back to the hotel for dinner and take a rest.


Day 12Rishikesh – Dehradun Airport (23 Km / 01 Hrs.)

  • After breakfast, drive towards Dehradun Airport for your departure flight. The road journey passes through scenic landscapes and valleys.
  • Arrive in Dehradun Airport and conclude your spiritual journey with cherished memories.
